Weekly Update (02/06/17)

Enchanted Evening Dance

This Friday, Feb. 10 is the Enchanted Evening Dance from 7-9 p.m. at Albright in the big gym. This is a family event, so we ask that children please bring a special adult in their lives. All district 48 families are welcome to attend.

In addition to the dancing, socializing and snacks, we will have photos, raffles and trinkets for sale. Raffle prizes include a giant stuffed bear, lunch with Mr. Jackson, a Coach purse and lots of other fun items. Jewelry, buttons, hair accessories and fabric wrist corsages will also be available for purchase.

We could still use a few volunteers for the event. If you are available please contact Kate Beckwith at kbeckwith@saltcreek48.org or text 630-667-3330.

Please see the flyer for details – and plan on attending this fun event!

Anyways Dine Out

There will be a dine out at Anyways coming up later this month. It will actually be held on 2 days – Tuesday, Feb. 21 and Wednesday, Feb. 22 to allow people who may have a commitment on one of those nights to participate. Any lunch, dinner or carryout orders count – you just need to present the flyer when ordering and the district will earn 15% of the proceeds.

Holiday Shoppe is Next Week!

Our Holiday Shoppe is happening next week, Dec. 12-16!  It will be at Salt Creek on Monday and Tuesday, Swartz on Wednesday and Thursday and Albright on Friday. Information was distributed this week.  Check your child’s backpack.

The idea behind the Holiday Shoppe is to give children an opportunity to purchase items for family members and friends that are low-cost and they feel proud for having picked out themselves. This is an experience they will remember from their childhood – and they’ll have fun shopping for gifts.

Feel free to preview the items we’ll have for sale AND, new this year, create a wishlist online to print and send in with your child. Go to  9281560.holidaytreasuresgiftshop.com to view the gifts with your child/children (be sure and click on all the headings to see all the available gifts). Handmade items, not pictured, may also be available at some schools, and are not included in the website.

Thanks for your support! Please email [email protected] with any questions.

Weekly Update (11/14/16)

Winter Fundraiser
Today is the last day to get your orders in for FTC’s winter fundraiser from EPI. We can still accept orders if your child brings it to school on Tuesday, or you can order online at www.epifunds.com. Please see flyer for details.

Holiday Shoppe
FTC is going to have the Holiday Shoppe again this year from Dec. 12-16. At this event the children got to pick out reasonably-priced gifts for family members and friends. It is held at the schools during school hours so the gifts can be a surprise for family members. More information about the sale will be sent after Thanksgiving break.

We need volunteers to help make the Holiday Shoppe a success. We are looking for people to volunteer for 2 hour shifts. Please see flyer for details, and contact Kate Beckwith ([email protected]) if interested. This is a great way to see the kids having fun and help spread some holiday cheer!

This year we are adding handmade items to the sale. If you are interested in contributing items that would be sold for $.25-$10 please contact Julie Tobias ([email protected])  or review the flyer for further details.

Thank You
Thank you to the district families that supported the Michael Anthony’s dine out last week – we made $225 off the dine out – a huge success!
